Kandy to Nuwara Eliya: Waterfalls, Tea Country & Scenic Views

Choose your preferred train departure and enjoy a convenient journey from Kandy to Nanu Oya Railway Station.

 

Pick-up From Kandy Hotel 6:00 AM

9:30 AM – Morning Train   Direct transfer to Nanu Oya Railway Station. No sightseeing stops, ensuring you arrive in time for your train.

 

Pick-up From Kandy Hotel 7:30 AM

2:30 PM – Afternoon Train   Visit scenic viewpoints, Ramboda Waterfall, a Ceylon tea factory and plantation, and enjoy a short Nuwara Eliya city tour before reaching the station.

 

Pick-up From Kandy Hotel 7:30 AM

1:30 PM – Wednesday Ella Odyssey Special Train   Enjoy a shorter sightseeing tour, including selected viewpoints, a tea plantation or factory visit, and a brief Nuwara Eliya city tour, subject to time and train schedule.

  • All pickup times are planned to allow sufficient time to reach Nanu Oya Railway Station before departure.

  • Sightseeing stops depend on traffic, weather, attraction opening hours and the actual train schedule.

  • The Wednesday Ella Odyssey itinerary is shorter because of the earlier departure.

  • Train departure times and operating days must be reconfirmed for your travel date.
